Calligram Letter to Myself

Skye, I hope you are working your dream job of being a radio personality and having so many opportunities to interview your favorite bands and artists. By now you have probably interviewed Greta Van Fleet, Maneskin, maybe even Dave Grohl. You have come so far from where you are now and everything you worked for has come to fruition. I know that you have probably overcome a lot when it comes to working your way up the ladder, and how you looked up to Terri Carr on WDHA for so many years your ambitions finally paid off. College finished off better than you could have ever imagined and you got to do it in your favorite state. Everytime you are stressed over an assignment or anxious about a due date, I hope you never view that part of you as a negative thing. I hope you turned it into a positive because it just shows how much you care about your work and wanted it to be the best it possibly could be. I know you have the tendency to be a perfectionist and I don’t want you to be ashamed of that because you are putting your all into your work. I hope that everything you dreamed for your future came true and that you continue to be happy. When this was written, you came so far in terms of becoming the best version of yourself and I hope you are proud of who you grew into as even more years went by. I want you to know that little you would be in awe if she saw how much you have grown, how you are no longer scared of what others think about you and are finally happy with who you are on the inside and out.
